"Black Hole Theory" by Keith McLachlan

If there is one definitive mystery out there, it would be the black hole. We don't really know what it is, we don't know whats going on inside it, and what happens to things that fall into it.

From our observation of the universe, life is a rare occurrence, and when it exists, a fragile one. The Earth itself had periods of extinction events that nearly turned our little blue planet into a barren death world not unlike Mars.

And we have taken life, including our own, for granted. Last Life of Leaves tells a story of how it is lost and regained, and serves as a warning and reminder to us all.

Comment Below is probably the shortest story featured on IFSA thus far. But the story itself is anything but inadequate. It delves into a question that have puzzled computer scientists since the 1950s: how human can a computer be?
